We were ill-prepared for a strong minded, working breed. We learned all the quirks of the breed that make them a desirable companion and then all the not so great traits that require a serious owner to manage them. Our dogs live in house and puppies are raised underfoot. We believe that well- tempered dogs that do well in a busy household will produce puppies with the same temperament. Because we raise all our dogs in our house we only keep as many dogs as we can manage. We rely heavily on our co-ownership program. Our dogs are raised holistically, fed a raw meat diet and follow the limited vaccine protocol. We have travelled all over USA to show, work and compete with our dogs. I have dedicated a large part of my life to learning the breed and everything that comes with it. Bully breeds are often the target of BSL, we feel it is our responsibility to be advocates of responsible ownership. American Bulldogs are not for everyone, they require strong leadership and structure. We believe American Bulldogs should be a versatile dog. They may not be the best at everything, but they will certainly try! We have done weight pull, protection sports, dock diving, scent detection, barn hunt, lure course, obedience and conformation with our dogs. Although all our puppies take a piece of our hearts as they leave on their new adventure, we trust that their new homes offer them a great life and keep us updated. We love to hear about our puppies and we measure our success on the feedback we receive. It is never a bother to hear from our own puppy owners or any other American Bulldog owner that needs advice. I have been heavily involved in American Bulldogs for 13 years — from conformation shows to performance events — we do it all with our dogs. I also work full-time to support my dog addiction and am a mother to a fourteen year old daughter Brooklynn. Bybee American Bulldogs Riverside, CA About We only produce a litter for the purpose of improving on what we have and always keep a puppy or two, we always reserve the top picks for our selves from each breeding. Some years we produce no pups and others we may have a few litters, we are not a large kennel and don't keep many dogs ourselves as we like them all to have plenty of time with us in and out of the house. Many of our dogs, especially our studs are raised and live with our friends and we co own or keep breeding rights on them this has proved to work out really well for both us the dog's and there new family. All of our pups are born and raised in our home and all of our dogs are family members that will live out there lives with us,they are not retired to live with strangers or sold on to someone who wants to have a few litters out of them but remain with us for as long as they are around.I can honestly say I have never sold an adult American Bulldog on to another "breeder". .I really don't agree with passing dog's around especially bulldogs. .Contact Bybee American Bulldogs. He snorts like a pig and makes the funniest snort noises that instantly make you giggle. Albert is a rescue dog and with any rescue, we cannot guarantee breed or age. We believe Albert is to be an American Bulldog mix approximately 4 years old and currently weighs 60 lbs and we do not expect him to get much bigger if at all than his current size. Albert has the most adorable squishy smooshy face that is the perfect subject for picture opportunities and has the looks that will make everyone stop in your tracks. Albert is dog friendly and did great meeting all of the dogs we introduced him to. He will do well in a home with other moderately playful dogs that will also respect his space whenever he does not want to play and he would also make a great dog for a single pet household. Absolutely no kitties for Albert please, he liked our resident cats a little too much. He is what we consider medium to low energy and like most bulldogs, will not require a lot of exercise and would most likely do well in a apartment or condo. If you know bull dogs you know they can be very stubborn and set in their ways and training can be a little more of a challenge but Albert is very treat motivated which will make training that much easier. Bonus points: he already knows how to sit! He does respond well to corrections and checks in frequently with his handler. He will need some help polishing his leash skills as he can pull to things that excite him and will need to learn some basic obedience skills. He likes to jump every now and then when he gets excited or when those treats come out. Consistency, patience and treats will be key to setting Albert up to be the best doggy citizen he can be. He will be a great buddy to take with you to run errands, join you for a leisurely walk in the neighborhood on a cool day, and will love you forever if you take him to his favorite place the pet store where he can pick out his favorite treats and toys. Abert is crate trained and potty trained and can even stay in his crate for up to 8 hrs with no accidents! His foster says he is very calm and comfortable in the home and likes to follow her around like her little sidekick. Albert is not overly affectionate but you will find him sitting next to you while you read and simply enjoying quality time with you. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12, very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. The best French Bulldog breeders will always give you advice on how to continue feeding your puppy once you welcome them home. So what are the most important things to consider while trying to find the perfect food for your Frenchie? Read on to find out! The quality of dog food is always determined by the percentage of its protein content, in other words, the amount of meat or fish it contains. So what should you pay attention to when looking at the ingredients list? This could be beef, lamb, salmon, or any other type of meat. The list usually ends with some sort of animal fat, vegetables, and fruits. Jasper, available French Bulldog puppy at TomKings Puppies Any other ingredient not mentioned above is only included to increase the volume of the dog food and to ensure the most economical production possible. So, if you see that a food contains an unrealistic amount of filler ingredients like wheat, corn, or chemical preservatives, it is definitely not a suitable and healthy choice for your Frenchie. Dog foods without chicken and grains A question that always comes up when choosing the right food for a Frenchie is whether it has to be chicken or grain-free. For that reason, we usually recommend giving chicken and grain-free food right from the start to avoid any possible problems. Makayla, French Bulldog puppy at TomKings Puppies That means that if you look at the list of ingredients, you can find companies whose food meets all the criteria we mentioned above and is much more affordable. Like with so many things, the name is not everything! On the other hand, if the kibble is too large they will have difficulties consuming the food. The flavor of the dog food When looking at dog foods, you can choose from lots of different flavors like a lamb, fish, beef, duck, etc. If one of the foods from a particular brand works fine for your Frenchie, the flavors can and should be changed as long as they have the same nutritional values. A varied diet is important not only for humans but dogs as well, not to mention that your fur baby will be very happy to taste some new flavors. The stool of your Frenchie A very important criterion and perhaps the best indicator of the given food is suitable for your Frenchie is their stool. A healthy stool should always be completely solid, which means you can easily collect it with a bag. You should always ensure a smooth transition by gradually mixing in more and more of the new food with the old to avoid any dietary issues. Signs of a food allergy in your Frenchie We have already mentioned that Frenchies tend to be allergic to chicken, but what are the actual signs of a food allergy? The most common symptoms include scratching, hair loss, dull lifeless fur, inflamed eyes and ears often with some discharge, paw licking, swelling, but also vomiting, and loose stools. You may not notice all of these and the degree to which they occur may also vary. Any of these symptoms indicate that an immediate change of diet is necessary, about which you should always consult your vet first. Eating a bit more slowly and with less appetite are usually signs telling you to cut out the middle meal. As for the amount, nice-looking French Bulldogs are a bit stockier, so you should always increase and lower the amount of their food with that in mind. Consultation with a veterinarian is also recommended to determine the best course of action. Some high-quality dog food brands offer special formulas that are designed for dogs with skin allergies. These foods typically contain limited ingredients and exclude common allergens such as wheat, soy, chicken, and dairy products. Instead, they may use alternative protein sources such as fish or venison and may contain added omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids to help support skin health. Some veterinarians may also recommend prescription diets that are formulated specifically to manage skin allergies in dogs. These diets may contain hydrolyzed proteins, which have been broken down into smaller components to minimize the risk of an allergic reaction. Even though processed dog foods might not look healthy to us, they actually contain all the nutrients that Frenchies need to stay healthy. Home-made and raw diets like B. Should I opt for dry kibble or canned wet food? Wet foods are of course more appealing to dogs, which means they get used to them easily and will not want to eat dry food again. If your Frenchie is a picky eater you can mix the dry and wet food but never give them the latter only. We recommend wet food for dogs who are ill and have no appetite. How much time does my puppy need to adjust to a new food? At what age should I switch to adult food for my French Bulldog? We usually recommend switching to adult food at the age of months old. If you notice that your puppy looks a bit chubbier or bigger compared to other Frenchies you can make this change even sooner. What is the best food for a Frenchie puppy? This should be a high-quality brand that uses real meat and avoids fillers, artificial preservatives, and additives. What is the best food for an adult French Bulldog? You have several options. Yet, we can learn a little more about the mix by looking at the history of the parents. Their short legs and long bodies allowed them to hunt prey in dens, such as badgers and foxes. Over time, they became more popular as companion dogs, but they still have some of those hunting instincts. French Bulldogs were bred in France during the Industrial Revolution. Unfortunately, the breed has developed many unhealthy traits over time to fit the trends. Their noses are now much shorter, making them prone to breathing problems. Here are some things you can expect. Personality French Bulldog Dachshund mixes are cheerful, smart, and friendly. They quickly grow attached to their family members, and they love to cuddle and play. Thus, with proper training, they make excellent family dogs. Energy Level These mixed breeds have medium energy levels, but this can greatly vary from dog to dog. While Frenchies are also playful, they tend to be a bit lazier and laidback at times. So, you can expect a mix of the two to be playful and energetic as a puppy, but they might become more laid back as they age. Social Skills French Bulldog Dachshund mixes are always excited to meet new people and animals. French Bulldog Dachshund Mix Appearance The physical traits of a mixed breed are often the most unpredictable. Some of these dogs will look more like French Bulldogs while others will look more like Dachshunds. A few might even be a unique combination of the two and end up looking like neither. Color French Bulldog Dachshund mixes can have any of the coat colors that their parents can have. Both Dachshunds and French Bulldogs are known for having a wide range of colors, so the results for this mix can be all over the place. The most common coat colors are brown, white, red, and black. Some will be solid colors while others could be a combination of more than one color. Coat Type For the most part, French Bulldog Dachshunds mixes will have smooth, straight hair with a normal density. Size Doxies and French Bulldogs are both small to medium-sized dogs, so their puppies will be the same way. French Bulldog Dachshund mixes are usually 15 to 17 pounds and 8 to 12 inches tall. Shedding These dogs are moderate shedders, so you might need to brush them a few times a week to get their shedding under control. Baths are another great way to control shedding. After you give your dog a bath, brush them to effectively get all the loose hair out. They might inherit the wrinkles of Frenchies, so be sure to clean, rinse, and dry their skin crevices effectively. Other Grooming Needs All dogs have a few other grooming needs that people often forget. An important one is nail trimming. Dogs should get their nails trimmed at least once a month. If you neglect it for too long, their nails could become overgrown and require weekly trimmings to get them back to a healthy length. You can go to a groomer or vet to get them trimmed instead. Teeth brushing is also important for dogs like it is for humans. Dogs should get their teeth brushed at least once a week, but more often than that is ideal. One or two walks daily is usually perfect for these small dogs. So, consider taking them to parks and other public spaces for a change of pace now and then. Walking in the same neighborhood every day could become boring for them. Most of these mixed breeds love playing fetch too, so having some playtime in the backyard is another way to satisfy their exercise needs. Training is crucial for any dog, and French Bulldog Dachshund mixes are usually pretty good at learning. Like all dogs, you should focus on positive reinforcements when training. Punishing your dog will only teach them to fear you while praising them will help you form a closer bond. French Bulldog Dachshund mixes can have a stubborn side, so patience and consistency are key when training them. Make sure everyone in your household is on the same page in terms of rules and expectations for your dog. When choosing the perfect food for any dog, look closely at the ingredient list. It should be high in real animal protein without having any cheap filler ingredients. Extreme cases might require surgery, but for the most part, all you can do is limit their activity during warm weather. A responsible breeder should breed French Bulldogs with longer snouts to avoid this. Another French Bulldog health concern that puppies could get is skin infections. Bulldogs have a lot of wrinkles and skin folds, which makes it easier for dirt and debris to get trapped. Clean their skin folds regularly to avoid this. While Dachshunds are often healthier than French Bulldogs, they still have some common problems. So, avoid letting them jump on and off high surfaces, especially if your mixed breed has a long body and short legs. If they refuse to show you where the dogs were bred or what their parents look like, then find somewhere else to get a dog. Breeders who sell through pet stores and websites only are likely puppy mills that are trying to limit their contact with you. So, before turning to a breeder, check out your local shelters to meet the amazing dogs that are already looking for forever homes. Yet, choosing a dog should never be solely based on their looks. Mixed breeds can be unpredictable, so a French Bulldog Dachshund mix might not end up being exactly what you expect. Other Dachshund Mixes. Lifespan Sociability Because this dog is a mixed breed, you never really know how a particular puppy will act. This is because the puppy can inherit any gene from either parent. They may act more like a French Bulldog or more like a Dachshund. You never know what sort of mix you are going to get. In most cases, this mixed breed is a pretty even mix of both parents. They are not active, though they do need a bit of exercise. They are eager to please, which can make training easy. However, they are not the smartest dogs out there , so it takes them a little to learn new commands. They may or may not have a strong prey-drive. This may make them unsuitable for homes with other animals. These dogs are also called French Bull Weiners. French Bulldog Dachshunds are prone to a variety of health problems. This breed is somewhat rare, as there are very few breeders that specialize in them. Early socialization helps ensure this dog is friendly with strangers and a variety of people. However, this dog is usually accepting of others as the default. Of course, each canine is unique, so that some dogs may be more friendly than others. Their genetics do matter somewhat. Many owners describe this breed as cheerful and fun-loving. They can be a bit too excited for their good sometimes, however. They do tend to jump on people and knock over children when excited. Early socialization can help with this, but this seems to be in the territory of the breed. At the same time, these dogs can be a bit independent and stubborn. They love their people and sometimes listen to what you tell them to do. They are very friendly and typically do not mind children at all. They love all their family members so that they will bond well with children. However, with that said, they can be a bit too energetic for some smaller children. They are also large enough to knock children over in some cases, which they can do when they get excited. Early socialization is vital to ensure that these pets will get along with others. Credit: Devoted Dogs To fully understand this hybrid, you must get to know both parent breeds. Similar to the fact that they can differ in appearance, Frenchie Weiners can demonstrate any of the personality traits of their parents. French Bulldog The delightful Frenchie is a friendly pooch with lots of affection for their humans. They love children and can be great with other dogs if socialized properly. They are not the most active of canines and prefer the comfort of the nest. French Bulldogs are highly dependent on their owners and can quickly develop separation anxiety if you leave them alone for too long. They can become destructive if neglected, so this breed is not suitable for people who are frequently absent from home. Dachshund Badger Dogs are feisty pups with a lot of energy and attitude. They retained most of their hunting instincts and thrive outdoors where they can sniff and explore. Dachshunds are also very loyal and protective of their owners, so they make excellent watchdogs. With this in mind, they can become heavy barkers if you miss a step or two in training. Training a Dachshund French Bulldog mix We cannot stress enough the importance of training for any breed. Dogs need to understand boundaries and commands, not to please the owners, but to stay safe. Integrating a pup into the pack is essential for them to be happy and relaxed as well. New owners may struggle with training, but with a little guidance, the process should not be too challenging. Take a look at our article on Dachshund potty training , you may find it useful. Here are some other tips if you happen to be a first-time owner. The training process should consist of three parts: Teaching commands Explaining house rules Socialization With basic commands in check, you can be sure that your pup will stop or return when you call. This is vital for their safety, especially if you live in the city. You can use some of the aids, like the training collars to make the sessions more effective. Also, prepare yourself for giving lots of treats, gifts , and smiles. For a laid-back coexistence with your pooch, you will have to set strict and steady house rules. Once they adopt them, the dogs can feel much more relaxed at home and enjoy the activities that are allowed. This does not mean that your pup should behave like a piece of furniture. You need to realize that the relationship is a two-way street, and that you will have to accept some new rules as well. They can turn into frightened and aggressive individuals, and that will not make them happy or fulfilled. Make sure your furry friend gets: A lot of playtime with other pups Regular walks in various surroundings A chance to meet and interact with other people With the above in check, your puppy will grow up to be well-behaved, friendly, and secure. Make sure to avoid 5 most typical mistakes while training your canine! Grooming a French Bull Weiner Grooming is so much more than just making your dog look pretty. Think of it as one-on-one quality time with your furry baby. While these rituals can be a handful with some breeds, French Bulldog Dachshund mix is not demanding in this respect. If they get the short and smooth hair of the Frenchie, a good brush once a week will be enough. For long-haired pooches, the sessions must be held at least three times a week. What every dog needs is to have their teeth cleaned as often as possible. Smaller breeds can develop dental problems, so brushing regularly can help in prevention. Gums are not less important, so introduce any of the top 10 dog dental chews to stay on the safe side. You will have to take care of the nails as well. If you are not handy with the clippers, take your baby to a nice beauty parlor. Although bathing is not required too often, if your doggy inherits the Dachshund hunting tendencies, they might get filthy once in a while. In that case, just be patient and get a good all-natural dog shampoo. Should a French Bulldog Mix take after their Frenchie parent, they will be a small companion breed that bonds closely with their families. They tend to have an energetic, playful personality and love nothing more than being with their favorite humans. French Bulldogs tend to be friendly, playful, and affectionate dogs that get along with just about everyone. They tend to get along with children, other dogs, and other pets. They will even warm up quickly to strangers as long as they have been properly socialized. If the other parent breed has a similar temperament, then you should be able to expect the same from a French Bulldog Mix. You can also meet the mother in person to see what her temperament is like and the behavior she is modeling for the puppies. The breeder should have started some training and socialization, but it is up to you to continue to train and socialize a puppy once you get them home. Frenchies are highly adaptable dogs. They do well in apartments as well as larger homes. However, as a brachycephalic breed, they are extra sensitive to heat and also sensitive to the cold. They also do not like being left alone for long periods of time. If the other parent breed is similar, then you can expect a Frenchie Mix to also be a highly adaptable dog. The other parent will introduce their own traits and some potential quirks, so you do want to ask the breeder about them. They could inherit none of the conditions common to their parent breeds, or they could inherit some or all of them. They can also be prone to allergies, have sensitive skin, and also a sensitive stomach. Good breeding practices will make a huge difference. Reputable breeders will screen their dogs to avoid passing issues to puppies. So, make sure you ask about the health and genetic history of both of the parents. Although French Bulldogs can sometimes be stubborn, they are eager to please and tend to be easy to train. As long as training is consistent and focused on positive praise and reward, they can be a good fit for owners of all experience levels. If the other parent breed is also easy to train, then you can expect a French Bulldog Mix to be highly trainable as well. Regardless of owner experience, there are many benefits of puppy training classes. A mixed-breed dog can inherit a coat similar to one of their parents or a coat that is a mix of both. You will also need to clean their facial wrinkles. Weekly ear checks with cleanings as needed can help prevent ear infections. As a small dog breed, a Frenchie Mix is more prone to developing dental diseases later in life. This makes good, consistent dental care for dogs even more important for them. Daily brushing with a dog-friendly toothpaste or using an enzyme toothpaste paired with cleanings at the vet when needed is ideal. Frenchies are known couch potato dogs that are happy to lay back, relax, and cuddle with you. Daily walks plus some playtime are usually enough for this affectionate little dog. Even though they like to relax, they also like to play and will be energetic when they do. They can also be athletic and compete in dog sports. As a brachycephalic breed, you do need to be careful of overexertion and overheating. But, there are plenty of ways to safely exercise flat-faced dogs to make sure your French Bulldog Mix gets enough exercise. If the other parent breed is also a low-energy breed, then you can expect something similar from a Frenchie Mix. If the other parent breed requires more activity, then you will need to be prepared for the potential of a higher energy dog. Fully-grown Frenchies usually stand inches tall and weigh pounds. The other parent breed can have a big effect on this, especially if they are the mother, so make sure you ask the breeder about them. This can give you some idea of what size to expect in a fully-grown French Bulldog Mix. French Bulldogs generally live for years. Although the other parent breed may affect this slightly, you should be able to expect a similar average life span in a French Bulldog Mix. Featured French Bulldog Mix Article. Should a Rottweiler Mix take after their Rottweiler parent, they will be a larger and strong dog breed that has a sweet, lovable personality and a protective instinct. Rotties tend to be calm and aloof. They also love their families and are lovable, playful, and affectionate with them. As long as they have been properly socialized, a Rottweiler will still be alert and protective of their families, but they will also be open and friendly to new people, especially once they have been introduced. The other parent breed will introduce some traits that could affect this in a Rottweiler Mix, so you want to make sure you ask about them. You can also meet the mother dog in-person to see what her temperament is like and the manners she is modeling for her puppies. Although the breeder should have started training and socialization, it is up to you to continue training and socializing a puppy once you get them home. Rottweilers are moderately adaptable dogs that are better suited to homes with fenced yards. They are more sensitive to heat and do not tolerate extreme temperatures very well. They also do not like to be left alone for long periods of time. The other parent breed could introduce the potential for a Rottweiler Mix to be more or less adaptable. So, you should be asking about the health and genetic history of both of the parents anyway. You can also ask about any health tests or clearances that have been done. They need structure and consistency in training and a confident leader to train them. As such, puppy training classes are recommended. The other parent breed could make a Rottweiler Mix easier or more difficult to train, so you do want to ask the breeder about them. They help reinforce training, strengthen the bond you have with your puppy, and also offer socialization opportunities. A Rottweiler Mix can inherit a coat similar to one of their parents or a coat that is truly a mix of both. If they inherit the Rottie coat, they will shed a bit year-round and heavier as the seasons change. Due to a lack of good dental care for dogs , gum disease is one of the most common health issues for them. Brushing teeth or using an enzyme toothpaste every day can help prevent painful dental diseases later in life. A Rottweiler is a working dog breed with moderate exercise requirements. They need a job to do in addition to daily walks, playtime, and some extra activity. If the other parent breed also sits in the moderate range, then you can expect something similar from a Rottweiler Mix. But, if the other parent breed is a high-energy breed, then you will need to be prepared for the possibility of a high-energy dog. Fully-grown Rottweilers usually stand inches tall and weighs pounds. The other parent breed can have a big effect on this, especially if they are the mother. So, make sure you ask the breeder about them. Although it is not a guarantee, you can also meet the mother dog in-person to get an idea of what size to expect in a fully-grown Rottweiler Mix. Rotties generally live for years. Although the other parent breed may affect this slightly, you should still be able to expect a similar life span in a Rottweiler Mix. Featured Rottweiler Mix Article. Not all mini Goldendoodles are equal, there are a few different versions to choose from each having a little different genetic background based on the pups parents. We will explain all the differences in Mini Goldendoodle puppies and how they are bred below. We raise all versions of the mini goldendoodle breed. F1 Mini Goldendoodle Pups. A F1 puppy is also known as a First Generation puppy. The puppies mother is a Golden Retriever and the pups dad is a Mini Poodle. This version of mini goldendoodle usually has soft wavy or curly puppy fur. They will shed until they lose their puppy fur, after shedding they will shed a lot less, but will shed. This version is partially hypoallergenic and usually requires low maintenance. F1 mini goldendoodles usually need to be groomed every 6 months along with daily brushing to keep their curly hair from matting and getting tangled. The dogs usually grow up having great temperaments similar to golden retrievers. They usually get about inches high at the shoulder and range in weight from pounds. F1b Mini Goldendoodle Pups. An F1b is known as a second-generation mini goldendoodle with the pups mother being already an F1 Goldendoodle and the pups dad being a mini poodle also. So the difference between F1 and F1b is that the mom is not a golden retriever but an actual F1 Goldendoodle. They also have very soft curly hair but with almost no shedding. This F1b version is semi-hypoallergenic and a better choice for anyone who has pet allergies. The F1b also should be brushed on a daily basis but will need to be groomed more frequently then a F1. A 6 to 8 week grooming schedule is recommended to keep their coat in perfect condition. F1b Mini goldendoodles get around 18 to 20 inches tall at the shoulders and range between pounds in weight. F1bb Mini Goldendoodle Pups. An F1bb goldendoodle is also known as a third-generation mini goldendoodle. This mini goldendoodle version has a coat more similar to a poodle than of a golden retriever. This is because the pup is more of a poodle than a retriever. Making it the very best version for anyone with pet allergies. A 6 to 8 week grooming schedule is required to help prevent knots or matting. This version is super intelligent and loving, and usually seems to have more energy than the other versions of Mini goldendoodles. This version is usually smaller in size, weighing around pounds and only getting inches tall at the shoulders. The smaller size makes them a great size for smaller homes and apartments. When we were ready for a new addition to our family and saw they were having a new litter we eagerly put our name in for one. Miss London is the sweetest, smart, loving 62 pound lap dog. She just had her first birthday and if my daughter had her way we would be getting another one from them. Their pups are well socialized and London slept through the night from day one. She loves our cat and all the extended family members. She loves going to the groomers. Great temperament dogs. Miss London Boomer is practically perfect in every way. I followed Chehalem Mountain Farms Goldendoodles for at least two years before adopting from them. CMFG are dedicated to raising healthy happy pups and placing them in excellent homes. They spend a significant amount of effort and love socializing the pups. Boomer was a gem from the first moment. He is friendly and curious, but also a people pleaser and soooo easy to train. He travels well in the car. This pup is magical, and I am convinced we would not have had the same experience with another breeder. Boomer We got our girl Everest for my son as an emotional support animal. She is the sweetest dog!!! She loves playing with the boys, but is just as happy snuggling up to any of us! She is super smart too. She only had one accident in the house while potty training. She sits down and wags her tail and just waits for them to come up and give her loves. Everest What is a Goldendoodle? A goldendoodle is a golden retriever and poodle cross. Goldendoodles go by several nicknames, including: golden poos, goldie poos, or groodles. Goldendoodles combine the intuitive, people-oriented nature of retrievers and the highly-intelligent mind of poodles. They often have an allergy-friendly coat. Welcome to Yare Valley Labradoodles Our love for our labradoodles is so great we decided to create this website to share them with as many people as possible. We live in a small Broadland village in South Norfolk, where our dogs are able to take full advantage of long country walks as well as the Norfolk Broads. Our first labradoodle came to live with us nearly 16 years ago and completely stole our hearts. Australian labradoodles are labrador retriever crossed with a poodle with the addition of other permitted breeds through the generations, including the soft coated Irish wheaten terrier, Portuguese water dog and the cocker spaniel. These infusions have resulted in dogs who are consistent in size, coat type and temperament. None of our pups are spayed or neutered before leaving for their new homes. This practice is only carried out by commercial breeders. I am not against spaying and neutering, at an appropriate age, but carrying this out before the dogs have reached maturity is not in their best interest. I also feel it is essential for family pets to be born and raised in a family home, as opposed to commercial kennels. We would never use distance selling or couriers as we view homing our puppies as a two way process that has to be right for both families. We therefore always meet potential puppy families and have them visit our home to meet our dogs. Once we offer you a puppy we ask for a 10 per cent deposit with the balance payable prior to collecting your puppy. Our puppies are only sold as family pets, as are the pups from matings with Waffle. Therefore no puppy shall be used for breeding, without our prior written consent. A spiritual breeder with a big heart. Our puppies are born with love, and our support is forever. We bring these beautiful souls into the world, and their forever happiness is the most important thing of all. We pride ourselves on communication, support and friendship. Firstly let me introduce myself, My name is Michelle, and we are a small breeder with strong ethics and a big heart. My dogs really are my life. They are my companions, best friends and family. As you will discover with the breed, they are my entertainment too. Pippa, her daughter Florence and her grandaughter Merebelle live here with me and Winnie. Along with the heartwarming joy we feel when we meet their new families and see how they truly change lives. Read a handful of our reviews, and you will understand how special our Australian Labradoodles are and how passionate we are about supporting our families. Benson was my world. He was a fantastic companion who filled every day with love and laughter. Benson is the reason we breed these beautiful dogs. I wanted to share what I found in Benson with others. I built this website myself with the aim of giving you a window into the world of the Australian Labradoodle. It was imperative that our website was written from the heart rather than built by a business. All of our breeding dogs are much-loved pets who have their very own forever families. And we couldn't have it any other way. We never sell retired breeding dogs. When our dogs retire, they stay with their forever families. Our Guardian program works brilliantly. Why not pop onto our Guardian Page to find out more? We consider our pup's families our friends and are always at the end of a call or text to offer help and guidance. We create private pages for our litters, enabling their families to follow their pup's progress from birth to collection. These pages create great memories too. Imagine looking back in ten years time, seeing their first steps. We use these pages to upload photos and videos and share advice and links to help their families prepare for their arrival. In addition, we have an Essex-based Australian Labradoodle walking group where you can arrange your own group walks. Our pup's health and temperament are of the utmost importance to us. The health of the puppies starts with the health of both parents. All of our breeding dogs go through physical and DNA health screening. All of their health and breed authentication certificates are available to view on choosing day. There is no rush when you are here. Rather than tryig to see everyone in one day, we invite our families to spend time with the puppies over a week. I love sharing my knowledge about the breed, so please do not hesitate to call. The love and devotion the Australian labradoodle has for their human friends is simply amazing; indeed the Australian Labradoodle was bred to not only to be a companion but a trained therapy assistant dog. Through diligent breeding practices, keeping temperament the top priority, the breed have developed to become extremely smart, intuitive, loving, fun dogs. Australian Labradoodles have wonderful sense of humours. They live to make people smile. Australian Labradoodles love everyone and every thing. .They live their lives assuming and insisting that everyone and everything loves them back. They really do bring so much joy. Thankfully Davina thought a was a suitable owner and I brought Poppy home. I remember so clearly, hearing myself laugh properly, for the 1st time in 5 years. Poppy taught, teaches me, to enjoy simple pleasures. So much so that 9 months later I brought home Poppy's half sister, Truffle. Total joy and Courtlands, Davina, is amazing. I would recommend to everyone and thank you from Poppy and Truffle. Liz Bauer We love our Fudge from Courtlands. She is perfect!!! Australian Labradoodles are dogs that have a very interesting history. They were first bred in the s by a member of the Australian Guide Dog Association who set out to produce a hypo-allergenic guide dog, for a blind woman who was allergic to dogs. They can be considered to be six in one, as six different breeds were used to create what I believe is the ultimate dog. They are gentle, smart, loving, playful and obedient. An extra bonus is that they have an allergy friendly coat and do not shed! Tootsie is a cuddly and very loving dog who adores children. She is very intelligent and has proved easy to train. Her gentle temperament means her puppies will be perfect for first time dog owners! She is an exceptionally pretty dog with a gorgeous thick and curly coat. I had spoken with Christine over the phone several months earlier and told her what we were looking for. We wanted a male with low to medium energy to fit into my household with two young daughters but still had the ability to be protective of the family. Our previous shepherd had passed away a few months earlier. He was a large Czech male with strong working, prey, and protection drives. And while he was a great dog, he required constant training and wanted to work all the time. We were looking for a dog with all the great qualities of our previous dog, but would be happy relaxing with us and not feel he needed to be working all the time. Christine understood exactly what we were looking for and put us on her list while she waited for a pup that would be a fit for us. During the time that we were waiting for a puppy, Christine maintained communication with us and was there to answer any questions I had and was not at all bothered by me periodically contacting her to get updates. She eventually contacted me to let me know that she had a puppy identified for us based on our needs. She kept me up to date on our pups progress by sending me pictures and videos so we could watch him develop. We chose to take possession of the puppy around weeks rather than at 8 so she could build the foundation for his training. When we received our puppy he was everything we could have hoped for and more. Not only was he a beautiful dog, you could tell a lot of time and care had been put into his development and socialization. We were able to hit the ground running with his training and he adapted to us immediately. At around 16 weeks we took our pup Axel to work with the trainer who had help me train my previous GSD and several rescue dogs I had fostered. He is a very well respected trainer and breeder in our area with over 30 years of experience. When he met Axel he was blown away. He told me several times how impressed he was with his ability to learn and understand what we wanted him to do. He also told me how rare it was for a 16 week old puppy to have that amount of focus and such sound nerves and confidence. He recommended we also do nose work with him and said that he is a candidate to do any type of training we wanted. And his eye contact is what impressed him most. Axel would stare at me for very long periods of time waiting for me to tell him the next thing to do. Hearing him give my pup such high praises made me very proud and also made me confident we had made the right choice going with Christine and Tre Good for our new family member. The registry was established by this group of people who wanted to maintain the breeding standards of the German Shepherd. The law was changed at some point, and now you can register the puppies without having to go through the Breeders Registration Bureau. The German Shepherd is a large, strong dog with a well-developed muscle mass and skeletal structure. Their head is straight, their eyes are deep-set, and they are naturally neat in appearance. Their hair is short in the front and long in the back. Their ears are perkier than most terriers and they have no problems with noise. All in all, they look like the perfect pet. When looking at German Shepherd puppies for sale, you want to make sure that the breeder has a good reputation. Check out the references that the website has to make sure that the person is responsible. If possible, call the office of the State Board of Registration and Education to see if the pet was ever trained or licensed. Ask the right questions such as: when did they get the puppy? How much does the litter cost? You may even want to get references and ask them if the pet that was sent to them passed away and if they know of any other German Shepherd Breeds that are free. Ask to see the breeding facilities and if possible check out the living areas. If the facility looks clean and nice, then it probably is healthy and happy breeding dogs. Ask if they are using only top-quality food. You want to make sure that you are not getting free feeders or worse, breeding dogs that could be sickly and could end up costing the shelter money. On the Internet, there are plenty of scams, and this can be a big danger if you are searching for German Shepherds for sale free on the Internet. You must research where you are getting your German Shepherd puppy from and get references and feedback from others. However, if it is too hard to get a tour then it might be best to pass on the deal. There are often at these events local shelters or rescue groups that will allow people to adopt a dog for free. German Shepherds love their attention and they need a lot of it. They can be very dominant and they like to take over when in the presence of other dogs. They also can be destructive, which can cause some issues with other apartment dwellers. German Shepherds make great companions for the right person. Share this:. golden retriever puppies in rhode island - Share Tweet The inability to produce normal stools is one of the most painful conditions that may happen to a dog. So, if you want to know why is your French bulldog constipated, read on and discover the reasons. Obstipation in Frenchies can be caused by many reasons, and here are the most common. Is your French bulldog constipated? Other, more severe symptoms include the condition called tenesmus. Your dog will strain to defecate, and will even show traces of blood and go through severe pains. When we talk about the most common causes of constipation in dogs, veterinarians set them in three categories. However, if it occurs daily, then you should check for the following reasons: Lack of exercise Even though Frenchies are not considered for highly active dogs, they need to get a daily amount of exercise. To maintain a healthy weight and improve digestion, you should walk your dog for approximately min a day. As we all know, physical activity plays an important role in maintaining a healthy metabolism. They belong to companion breeds so spending time alone can cause them to go through severe anxiety. Constipation can be one of the symptoms, as well as chewing and licking body parts, howling, loss of appetite, etc. Inappropriate diet If your dog daily struggles with constipation, our advice is to check for his diet. Dry kibble that is rich in grains and calcium can be one of the causes. Therefore, try to switch him to a fiber-rich diet. You can also prepare the meal for your pet by yourself. Instead, you can cook the pumpkin, chicken breast meat, and carrots for your Frenchie. Other triggers that can cause French bulldog constipation are: dehydration. For very mild incidents, and when waiting for the vet consultation, there are a couple of constipation management suggestions you can attempt: Plenty of water: Please ensure that your Frenchie has access to clean water. Constipation conditions can be improved if you ensure your French Bulldog gets sufficient water. You will find that providing wet food instead of dry food will also help. A daily feeding schedule 2 to 3 meals a day may benefit. Particularly, the amount of fiber in the food can impact constipation; therefore, having the right amount should help improve intestine motility and minimize constipation. Feeding too much or too little fiber can exacerbate constipation, so talk to your veterinarian, and they should be able to provide adequate diet recommendations. Avoid These When Your Frencie Is Constipated There is indeed a lot of misleading advice online regarding natural treatments for dog consti p ation. It is important to remember that you must always speak to your veterinarian before offering any remedy to your Frenchie. Enemas: Enemas must only be delivered by a veterinarian and therefore should not be given at home. The chance of harm or even contamination is significant, so professionals need to manage this procedure. Milk: Since so many dogs are lactose-intolerant, certain people say that dairy is a successful home cure for constipation by functioning as a laxative. Even milk can lead to diarrhea and is not recommended, as it can cause more health issues on its own. Laxatives: Your vet should be the only person to prescribe laxatives or stool softeners. If the constipation of your Frenchie is not resolved, then obstipation — the inability to expel the colon on their own may happen. In this situation, the bowel becomes filled with an unbearably large volume of feces. Without medical treatment, your Frenchie may suffer from this more serious type of condition and typically progress to the point that the following symptoms become visible: Lack of appetite. No comments Has your little buddy been having a hard time going to the bathroom? Of course, be sure to take your furry friend to the vet if constipation lasts longer than a few days at a time. However, here are some healthy habits to stop it from happening again. The main cause of constipation in canines is a poor diet. Dog food bought from the store might seem like a great choice, but every pet reacts differently. Dry foods that are high in grain can cause a hard stool, and that might make it tougher for your Frenchie to go to the toilet. Make sure your dog is getting lots of water to drink, too. Dehydration can play a big role in causing French Bulldog constipation. Getting over this problem might be as simple as adding a little water to the food bowl when dinner time comes around. Keep track of precisely what your Frenchie is eating daily. Avoid giving them too many treats during the week, and try a variety of different foods to find the perfect match for your dog. Should I Be Worried? Hard stools, too, may be a sign of more severe issues that require a professional diagnosis. Have your Frenchie checked for worms regularly throughout the year, and look for warning signs to catch any serious health issues ahead of time. Keep your pet away from plastic bags, and throw away any damaged cushions that they could be gnawing on. The easiest way to treat the problem immediately is by using a doggy stool softener. You can get them at your local pet store, or you can have them prescribed by a veterinarian. Daily exercise is vital for any pet, but it can also contribute to better digestion. So make sure your little buddy is getting plenty of fun outdoors for overall health. Lastly, be sure to give them plenty of water to drink every day and cut out dry foods until their constipation clears up. Focus on improving their diet, and keep them hydrated. Your furry friend will be back to normal in no time with the right help. Pebble-like stools Distended abdomen If you pay close attention to Cookie you can catch the issue in short order and start some type of treatment plan. In the fruit category along with pumpkin , you can give him peaches, pears, and apples. Among vegetables, broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, carrots, and Kale will do the trick. Some dogs will launch into these edibles without fuss. Munch, however, likes his ground up. Add about 1 Tbs to his regular food per 25 pounds of weight. Since French Bulldogs rarely weigh over 28 pounds, one 1 Tbs daily is fine. Olive oil is a natural stool softener that works fairly quickly. Coconut oil soothes the digestive tract, having anti-inflammatory properties. Daily is the recommended dose for small dogs. Massaging A Constipated French Bulldog There are different approaches to massaging your Frenchie to help with constipation. Sit on the floor with Cookie laying on her back in your lap. Using small circular motions, massage the lower abdomen in both directions clockwise and counterclockwise for five minutes each. You can use the other hand on her chest for reassurance. Also, speak soft words of encouragement. Next use larger circular motions, again 5 minutes in each direction. Make sure to use a flat palm, not your fingers. Place her on her side. Apply pressure with both of your hands at the neckline, slowly stroking toward the tail. Repeat 20 times. Stop, and gently move them to the other side. This relaxes some of the muscles she uses to poop. You can alternatively use the stroking method when she is sitting. This time, place one hand on each side of her body at her neckline. As before, move slowly down to her tail. You can give your French Bulldog a laxative, but only one prescribed by your vet. This applies to stool softeners too. Never give human laxatives to your pooch. Minimally Much should poop once a day, but he may go as many as five times daily. The ones who poop more eat small, regular meals. When constipation goes unchecked it can become serious. Their bowel fills and fills with a large amount of feces. In turn, munch will seem lazy, vomit, refuse food, and continue straining without production. If it has been more than two days since Munch and Cookie took a healthy poop , call your vet and make an appointment. Initially, you can try the simple approaches of water and food additives that are known to help digestion. Post Views: 1,
