Burreaux, a Labrador retriever mix, was found by Caddo Animal Control in Louisiana at just 8 weeks old along with two siblings, Joe and O. The runt of the litter, Burreaux recovered from parvovirus and grew into a playful, active puppy. The Humane Society of Northwest Louisiana then began searching for a family to adopt him and his siblings. HSNL staff noticed that every time they talked to him, Burreaux's face would break out into a toothy grin. They posted a video of his goofy smile on Facebook to advertise that he was still up for adoption. The video has been viewed over , times in two weeks. Burreaux has even more reason to smile now. He really is the sweetest thing ever. Little Burreaux was picked up by an animal control centre before ending up at Humane Society of Northwest Louisiana for rehoming. Wanting to take full advantage of his new opportunity, the adorable pooch came up with a plan to charm everybody who stopped by his cage. He was one of three siblings to have been brought to the Humane Society by director Courtney Wingate, after she spotted the eight-week-old dog smiling at her during her visit to the control centre. He is the runt of the bunch. We have even started teaching him how to play fetch. The rescue worker added: "Our sweet little Burreaux has parvo! We thought it was only hookworms, but tested positive for parvo. Thankfully, the grinning pooch made a speedy recovery and was soon adopted by a couple who couldn't resist his pearly whites. His brother and sister also secured their own homes. Celebrating his adoption, the rescue worker said: "Happy life Burreaux! The puppies tested negative for parvo at the vet, but once at the rescue, Burreaux, the pup with the heart-melting smile, got sick. They rushed him back to the animal hospital where he made an amazing recovery. Humane Society of Northwest Louisiana Back at the rescue, Walton started noticing that whenever someone talked to Burreaux in a high voice, telling him that he was a good boy, the pup would immediately flash his little teeth in a big grin. Joe immediately got adopted. But despite his new online fame, Burreaux and his sister O are still looking for their forever home. The pups know they already won the jackpot when Wingate and Walton pulled them from the kill shelter. But one day soon, Burreaux and his sister hope to have something a little more permanent to smile about — a home and a loving family.
