For example a white parent may not be able to produce white puppies based on the mate with which it is paired. However two solid colored parents may produce white or parti puppies! So it is best to read the description of what I say should be produced. Ultimately specific markings are up to Mother Nature, as is Gender,and I cannot control those things please understand! Most of these puppies in all of these groups should highly resemble one another in fact! We also reserve the right to chage studs at any time, for a number of reasons for the best outcome. It is a recognised breed in it's own right by International Genetic Testing laboratories and is sometimes called Australian Labradoodle which can be misleading. Other ASDs have a wool coat which is much thicker, denser and more springy which should also be non shedding. The wool coat has less movement and resembles a Poodle coat. However, there are many different and complex allergies and sometimes people find that they are allergic to not only dog hair, but also dog saliva and urine which is a problem if you want to have a puppy. The ASD is not a hypo-allergenic dog as it's saliva or urine could still trigger an allergic reaction. The Kennel Club do not recognise this breed as Pedigree and there are therefore no KC Registration Papers available which means great care must be taken to keep the breed in good repute. The breed was created to SERVE and provide therapy, companionship and assistance to those with special needs. This procedure, as far as the ASD is concerned, has been found to be safe, ethical and highly effective against indiscriminate and unlawful breeding practises. There are some Boxers that appear to be black. However, a solid black coat is not indicative of the breed. So, how can this be? Read more about what markings and patterns can cause a black-like coat. Fawn- What exactly is the color fawn in regard to dogs? This sample is a typical fawn. However, as you will see, fawn is a range of hues. To the right below on mobile is a medium fawn is the standard hue when referring to this terminology. With nice white flash markings on the chest and with black on the muzzle, this Boxer meets color breed standard very well. Brindle - What is brindle? Brindle is not technically a color, it is a pattern. The base is fawn and there is striping. The stripes may be light or dark, and density of the striping can range from thin to thick. Some brindles will look almost fawn and some will appear so dark that they look black. This Boxer shows the standard brindle striping. With white on his chest, paws and ankles and black on the muzzle, this Boxer also meets breed standards perfectly. This is a red fawn Boxer. As you can see, this fawn is darker and deeper than that the common tan fawn; producing a slight shading of red. What a gorgeous coat. This Boxer is a dark brindle. As you can see, with dark brindle the black is over powering the fawn color. The black striping in this pattern is heavy; which would be called a reverse or even a seal. Which simply means that the dog is not officially a solid fawn; he is a mix of colors. Seal - The Boxer dog you see here on the left is Vesta; this color is often referred to as seal. Dark brown Boxers are often thought of as being more gentle and easygoing than their lighter-colored cousins. The main difference is in the shade of brown. A light brown Boxer will have a coat that is closer to tan or cream, while a dark brown Boxer will have a coat that is darker, more like chocolate. Brown and White Boxer Brown and White Boxer When you search for photos of Boxers on Google, you will find that one of the most common colors of the breed is brown and white. They often have a sleek, solid brown coat with black mask and white markings. But even if you find this color combination common, brown and white Boxers still look regal, alert, and curious. By understanding these different ways of breeding, can help you understand what will cause your Goldendoodles to have a certain hair type. These are the common crosses used to make Goldendoodles. This makes an F1. These dogs tend to have wavy or curly hair. After you complete this first cross, there are many different options for producing more Goldendoodles. This may be the most popular type of Goldendoodle. This means that your dog will have a split between the traits of these two dogs. These different crosses are known as F2 or second-generation crosses. These are considered second-generation Goldendoodles or F2. These are called F1B. This is done to bring out more of the poodle traits in the Goldendoodle. If you want a Goldendoodle with a coat very similar to a poodle, this is a great breeding that you will want to look for. These dogs are also very low to non-shedding and usually allergy-free. This dog will be more like a Golden Retriever with less curly hair. Your Goldendoodle can be up to 8 months old before their true coat type is shown. Most Goldendoodles, you can get a good guess at around 4 months, but these pups are growing and changing that even their hair type can change. Most of these dogs will have their adult hair coat between 6 to 8 months, and then you can for sure be able to tell what type of adult coat your dog will have. Most people get their dogs around 8 to 12 weeks, sometimes before then. While the coat type that they have then will be very close to what their hair will look like as an adult, it can always change as they grow. These are a description of the 3 common coat types seen in Goldendoodles: Shaggy or wavy hair Shaggy or Wavy coat is the most common hair type, and most popular hair type wanted in Goldendoodles. This is much, much more accurate and dependable than the old Mendelian filial F1, F1b, etc. The gene responsible for furnishings is dominant; so by testing the parent dogs DNA, it can be determined if a breed pair will produce puppies that all have furnishings, or if there will be some puppies with an incorrect or Golden Retriever like coat. Dogs with one copy of the furnishings gene Ff or F IC are lower shedding than dogs without furnishings. Dogs with two copies of furnishing genes FF are typically non-shedding. Understanding the Science and the Physical Presentation For starters, we will share a photo of a dog with a furnished coat. The key difference in a dog with a furnished coat versus one with an unfurnished coat is the facial hair. Dogs with furnished coats have that signature doodle hair all over, including their face. This is just one of the things to consider when adopting a furnished doodle of any sort. One thing to note is that the curly coated gene does not indicate furnishing or the lack thereof in a Bernedoodle. How do we know if a puppy will be furnished or unfurnished before their coats are finalized? We do genetic testing on our puppies for full transparency and so that all of our adopters know what they will be getting in their new addition. As we mentioned, the furnishing gene only impacts the bearding and facial hair of your puppy. Unfurnished puppies have a smooth face.
